The only upfront costs to use ScrapCATapp.com is the equipment you use to inventory your Units. To keep everything standardized, we ask that all Users use the same stand and the same tablet (in a protective case) to take photos of their Units. This allows the buyers to recognize the Units easier and ultimately pay more for your inventory.

Let me add something, the cost of the equipment is 100% refundable. Should you decide that the ScrapCATapp auction platform is not for your company, simply send the tablet and the photo stand back for a complete refund!

(I am very proud to say that despite this 100% refund offer, since we started in October 2017, we have yet to refund any Seller for their tablet or their photo stand!)

The last thing I will say is that we charge you what our cost is, we don’t make any profit on the equipment, our goal is to give you the tools that you need to be the most efficient and productive when selling your scrap catalytic converters. There are also benefits to us preloading the tablet with the software and videos you will need as well as being able to offer quick replacement options of the exact same tablet, should your tablet become lost, stolen, or damaged.

ScrapCATapp has no reoccurring annual or monthly fees. While we may offer a subscription service to our high-volume users in the future, our business model is simple. We are a “pay to play” format. You only pay for our service if you successfully sell your converters on our site. The charge, after your free trial period, is only 1% of your transaction.

And to make sure ScrapCATapp is a good fit, this small 1% fee only starts after your first 2 transactions. Your first two transactions are on the house! Free! Complimentary!

Let me also add that you are never out of pocket or have to worry about paying us any fees directly. When the buyer pays us for your material using the Transaction Assistance Program, we subtract our 1% fee and then send the 99% balance to you.
