Let me quickly review how our platform works:

The first step is to go to our website and sign up for a new account. This puts you into our system. We get your basic information and you choose your username and your password.

After you do this, we will review your information and give you a call to determine the best approach for your use of ScrapCATapp.com. If you are ready to start inventorying and selling, we schedule your online training. If you are not sure and still have some questions, we schedule an online demo where we review the platform and answer any and all questions you may have.

The online Demos range in time. Our part, introducing you to the ScrapCATapp system takes about 20 minutes. However, we will stay on as long as you need to be sure that all your questions are answered. Typically, the demos last from 45 minutes to an hour.

We do the Demo using a screen share program called Blizz. Blizz is a free, trusted, program that allows you to log into our system so that we can introduce you to the platform and show you live examples of current auctions and inventory. We will send you instructions on how to add Blizz to your system, don’t worry it’s easy and you can delete it after you are done.

We use Blizz for the screen sharing, to avoid any communication issues, we use phones for talking. We can easily do demos for multiple people in different areas at the same time. It is very common for owners to be in one location and the GMs to be in different locations during the demos.

Once you decide to become a Seller, we will send you a ScrapCATapp Converter Photo Stand and a Samsung tablet that is preloaded with our inventory software, training literature, and videos.

Once you receive the Tablet and the Photo stand, you will arrange a time with us to walk you through the inventory process. We will teach you some hacks and tricks to make the inventorying of your converters easy and efficient. This training process is usually about an hour or less. But again, we will take all the time you need to ensure you and your staff are fully trained and feel comfortable and confident using our system. – Don’t worry, our inventory process and software is very simple, we use a color/icon/word process that accelerates the understanding so that most workers are experts after inventorying 10 converters!

The whole process is standardized. This makes it easy for you, your workers, and the buyers.
